Forgetting an Ex Girlfriend while Sitting At A Bar
In the late night wake of another fight with my ex girlfriend, I began to realize the true nature of every relationship. Sipping at a beer and watching the World Cup wasn’t the best way to get over an ex but it still was an approach to the ever growing problem I was facing. The problem was that no matter how I tried to drive her away, she would still call and bother me at all hours of the day and night.
I didn’t know a good approach to get over my ex girlfriend or this weird back and forth we were in. I knew why I broke up with her. Everything from daddy issues, self esteem, sleeping around, being indecisive, and a list of issues that make news stand jealous. So I continued to watch the soccer game in front of me and try to relax after she had told me about yet another bad decision she had made in her life.
It wasn’t my fault that the guy she was seeing was a pimp, biker, car thief, sex offender, and a list of other types of felons I think one could only find at a state prison. I looked down at my cell phone on occasion in order to check time because I do have a job. Not a real lucrative profession but one that does require a certain amount of dedication and self control.
That was her biggest problem was the fact that she had neither of those abilities. She didn’t understand that dating a guy who had been in prison for cooking meth wasn’t exactly a good option and that I was well into my I don’t give a shit stance on the situation. I needed to solve this problem and the more I drank the more I realized the solution.
My phone company charges fifty cents a month for me to block individual numbers. I called and gave them her parent’s number, her numbers, and just for good measure I even gave them the work numbers that I knew about. This ended up costing me 5 bucks a month for over two years but it was completely worth it to never have to hear about her misadventures in dating again.
